The NFF (CWB) Team
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Mr. Norman LAW as he retires after serving at the NFF (CWB) since 2001. Norman has been a key member of the NFF (CWB), responsible for all IT-related matters. He has made significant contributions to software development, including the NFF (CWB) lab booking system, as well as hardware development, such as the equipment lock control system and the door lock system. Additionally, he has played a vital role in consolidating the IT infrastructure at NFF (CWB). We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
In addition to his retirement, Norman has also been honored with the Staff Long Service Award 2024 for his 30 years of service at HKUST, recognizing his significant contributions to the NFF (CWB) over the past few decades.
This year, the NFF (CWB) welcomed two new team members: Mr. Yang LIU and Mr. Meko TSOI. We warmly welcome both of them to join the NFF (CWB) team!
Meko graduated from HKUST last year. As a quick learner and analytical aerospace engineering graduate, he will help with the lab operations and equipment maintenance of the dry etching and sputtering systems.
Mr. LIU joined the NFF (CWB) for one-year as a Visiting Scholar in April and he comes from the Institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMECAS). He is now working in the photolithography module.
