Events and Activities
Following the cancellation of social distancing measures and the lifting of mandatory mask-wearing requirements, effective March 1st, the NFF(CWB) has resumed full normal operations, including organizing various lab visits and lab sessions.
From March 1st until October 31st, the NFF(CWB) had served more than 360 visitors who came to the facility for visits. Additionally, the NFF(CWB) was open for the University's open day, as well as several undergraduate and postgraduate course lab sessions.
A visit was organized for high school students from Fanling Kau Yan College on March 16th, as part of an event co-hosted by HKUST's Physics Department and the Hong Kong Academy of Sciences. The students visited the NFF(CWB) lab as part of their itinerary.
On July 25th, the NFF(CWB) Lab welcomed students from Mainland China who were participating in summer camps organized by the School of Engineering's Academy for Continuing Education (ACE).
Many visitors who attended HKUST Info Day on October 14th, were interested in visiting the NFF(CWB) lab.
NFF(CWB) also supports various undergraduate and postgraduate course lab sessions, including EESM 6980, ELEC 3500, ELEC 4520, ELEC 5010, ELEC 5080 and ISDN 6810.
