To recognize the donation made by Dr. Tai-chin LO and her husband Dr. Tony TAI, in support of the University's research development, a naming ceremony was held on December 5th for the Dr Tai-chin Lo Nanosystem Fabrication Facility.
Dr. Tai-chin LO is one of the founding faculty members of the University’s Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (now Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering). She also served as the founding director of the Nanosystem Fabrication Facility, the first nanofabrication laboratory established at a tertiary institution in Hong Kong.
Dr. LO and her husband Dr. Tony TAI are firmly committed to advancing education and research as well as nurturing talents. NFF is named after Dr. LO in recognition of the couple’s longstanding support of the University.
